Cats have always been associated with the Moon. Like the Moon, they come to life at night, escaping from humanity and wandering over housetops with their eyes beaming out through the darkness.

is the smallest of the trio and she acts a little differently than Star or Sun. She is called "Moon" because she was the first of the three to open her eyes, and they looked like little blue moons. She also has a little golden crescent moon on her forehead. She is the eternal kitten and loves to play and romp. She is very vocal. She loves to leap up and sit on our shoulders. Sometimes she climbs up on a railing post by the outside staircase and waits for one of us to walk down the stairs so she can jump onto a shoulder and get a ride down. She is obsessed with small rodents and has the ability to completely block out any surrounding noises when she is hunting. This phenomena is especially appearant when she is called to come in for the night. There are times when I have called, and called, and called, and then searched all over only to find that she had been very close by all the while, poised in an ambush position, and completely oblivious to my despiration! Moon has her own exclusive little drinking cup! Her nicknames are: "Cakehole Moon", "Pifty", "Pazitty Pifter", "Little Poof", "Pazooty Pooty", "Piss Potty", "Puss Puss", or just "Puss". She has recently discovered how fun it is to swat at the other cats and send them flying off in terror.
